iam trying to get my childs headstart to teach zoo-phonics and would like a to know if it was helpful to there children to learn there ABC’s compared to what we where taught when we where in school

    yes, my now 6yr old learned the zoo phonics thru the preschool she attended. It helped tremendously because the same program was been used at the kindergarten she attended. It helped that she knew it so the transition from pre-k to K was easy in that respect. My son, now 2 1/2 is also learning that at the same preschool.

    I had actually never heard of that. It’s an interesting system, but extremely expensive. I’d think you could do the same thing without the cute animals. Children don’t *need* to be entertained with everything they do. Letting them think that will just set them up for disappointment later in school.
