I was wondering what the best sources are for learning how to read Japanese. I wasn’t sure if there were any books/resources focusing more on reading Japanese, rather than speaking it. Either way, I would love to know some resources that can teach the language at an easy and good pace.

My brother just got a ticket. he made an illegal turn in a construction zone, and didn’t have any license, registration or insurance on him. He should me the ticket that he got. There was 2 of them. the same ticket but different copies, one said misdemeanor copy and the other was an infraction copy. Neither of us have ever had a ticket before so we really don’t know how to read it. Is this 2 tickets? or 1 and why does one say misdemeanor? how can we find out if he will get any points for this?
